Scope of work covers all installation activities for projects in the field of low and medium voltage electricity distribution, smart grids and energy automation systems.

In this role you will be dedicated to working for our (inter) national datacenter projects.

From the headquarters of this company in The Hague, the Center of Competence Datacenters is responsible for the realization of multidisciplinary hyperscale data center projects on a global scale. The current department consists of 300 colleagues with full project teams comprising project management, engineering, purchasing, QHSE, logistics, site management, and commissioning. Our project area includes engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of energy distribution systems such as medium and low voltage switch gear, transformers, rail systems, protection relays, automation and monitoring systems, and modular structures such as E‑houses and skids.

Day to day
As a Site Supervisor for international data center projects, your daily activities include overseeing installation work related to low and medium voltage electricity distribution, smart grids, and energy automation systems. You coordinate with colleagues, engineers, subcontractors, and customers to ensure the smooth execution of each phase, from planning and installation to testing and commissioning. You manage site operations, monitor progress, and address any risks or challenges that arise on‑site while ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and safety guidelines.

Effective communication and collaboration with your team and stakeholders are essential to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to defined guidelines, processes and procedures for all site operations assigned.

Oversee completion of site administration according to performance standards agreed (on schedule, at requisite quality level, on‑budget).

Represent the site in all decision‑making committees of the project (towards own management, customer and team).

Coordinate contractors before and during execution of work.

Assess risks/opportunities at the construction site (e.g. economic, organisational or contractual risks, acceptance criteria, change request procedures).

Monitor compliance to standards, regulations, laws, quality and EHS guidelines.

Lead qualified employees in one functional team.

Your profile

A higher‑education qualification in electrical engineering or a vocational education in electrical engineering with a lot of experience.

A convincing record of professional experience in this field.

Ideally you have already been able to gain some intercultural experience.

You like to work on projects abroad for a longer time.

Business‑fluent language skills in English (Dutch language would be great!).

Drivers licence and EU passport (you have to have an address in the Netherlands).

Possibility to work either 3 weeks on‑1 week off or working at site for longer periods.
