Oversee and lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping while ensuring all materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate daily records of all warehouse activities.
Ensure adherence to all company procedures, safety policies, and operational guidelines.
Proactively promote and manage a strong safety-, quality-, and efficiency-focused culture.
Work a 14/14 rotational schedule.
Tasks
Prepare and distribute daily warehouse activity reports as required.
Verify that all receiving, shipping, and inventory documents are completed accurately and signed off.
Participate in daily team meetings or safety briefings to ensure safe and consistent operations.
Be present for key warehouse activities, including inbound receiving, inventory counts, order picking, packing, and outbound shipments.
Monitor and track all inbound and outbound goods.
Deliver cargo to vessels operating in Grimsby and nearby areas.
Conduct daily housekeeping and basic upkeep of onsite vehicles.
Deliverables
Accurate daily logging of warehouse activities, including receipts, inventory movements, and shipments.
Submission of complete and precise daily activity reports.
Continuous monitoring and reporting of equipment conditions.
Decision Authority
Empowered to intervene or halt warehouse operations if safety risks, inventory discrepancies, or procedural breaches are identified.
Qualifications / Requirements
Mandatory
First Aid Certificate
Forklift licence (double mast, up to 4 tonnes)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems
Full, clean UK driving licence
Preferred
Dangerous Goods certification (air and sea)
Previous warehouse experience within offshore wind construction projects
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HSE training
Competence in PPE inspection (e.g., harnesses)
Residing within one hour of Humberside Airport to allow for potential out‑of‑hours callouts
Knowledge of UK customs regulations
