• Managing your schedule and having responsibility for your own revenue.
• Travelling to customers' premises and carrying out routine servicing, light maintenance and warranty/recall work.
• Observing, recognising and reporting vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
• Examining vehicles completely and reporting orally or in writing upon the vehicle's condition, safety, reliability and performance.
• Carrying out all work in a responsible and safe manner.
• Attending mandatory manufacturer and in‑house skill development.
• Ensuring all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer paperwork and electronic documentation, e.g. PDI sheets are fully completed and signed off.

This role involves travelling and as such, you may be required to start your working day from home. The working days for this role are Monday to Thursday (week
1) and Tuesday to Friday (week
2) with suggested hours of 08:00 am–18:00 pm to allow time to travel to and from customers.

• A Minimum Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
• Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
• A full, UK driving licence.
• A positive, right‑first‑time attitude.
• A strong team player mentality.
• The ability to work to a very high standard independently.
• Minimum set of basic tools are required.
• Good communication skills, with customers and internal staff alike.
• A willingness to learn and develop.
