Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen within the Blood Sciences Department at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital for a Band 7 Advanced practitioner (Haematology). The successful candidate will be expected to hold FIBMS, equivalent MSc or IBMS HSD, although candidates nearing completion of the above or with extensive experience are invited to apply.
ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Path Links Pathology network, you will support the blood sciences manager with the day‑to‑day management in a busy laboratory. You will also help with staff training and maintain compliance with UKAS ISO:15189.
QualificationsGood communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Experience with staff training is essential. Knowledge of UKAS ISO:15189 is required.
