Finance Manager / FP&A – Grimsby

We are partnering with a leading international food manufacturing company to appoint a Finance Manager / FP&A for their Grimsby operation. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong FP&A and business partnering experience who is ready to play a key role in operational and strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted finance partner to site leadership, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams, delivering actionable insight on cost, efficiency, and performance.
• Use your finance expertise to strengthen decision‑making, financial governance, and overall financial discipline.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling planning processes for the site.
• Align financial planning with operational priorities and support scenario planning and investment cases.
• Deliver clear, data‑driven analysis to highlight risks, opportunities, and value creation levers.
• Improve reporting capability, dashboards, and visibility to enhance the speed and quality of decision‑making.
• Support cost reduction and efficiency initiatives and monitor capital expenditure.
• Build collaborative relationships with senior leaders to challenge assumptions and support strategic decisions.
• Prepare high‑quality financial materials and commentary for senior management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong post‑qualification experience.
• Background in FP&A or senior finance roles with commercial business‑partnering responsibility.
• Comfortable working hands‑on, building processes, and delivering operational finance insight while also thinking strategically.
• Experience in fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability; familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior non‑finance stakeholders.
• Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions‑focused.
• Experience managing multi‑entity or multi‑site operations is advantageous but not essential.
