The Opportunity Are you an experienced Site Engineer with strong heavy civils experience looking to take on a major, fast-paced development?

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected main contractor delivering a £40 million new-build distribution facility in Grimsby (DN31 1LY
) . The project forms part of a wider programme of industrial and logistics developments that are redefining the regional landscape.

You’ll be part of a well-structured team known for delivering complex industrial and heavy civils projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Our client is an established UK main contractor with a strong track record in the industrial, logistics, and civil engineering sectors . They are recognised for their collaborative culture, commitment to innovation, and consistent delivery of large-scale projects for leading developers and end-users.

Their approach combines technical expertise with hands‑on leadership, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality and safety standards.

• Setting out, surveying, and carrying out QA checks on‑site
• Ensuring all works meet design specifications and safety standards
• Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and the design team
• Producing accurate reports and maintaining site records
• Supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of works on site

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on heavy civils, industrial, or commercial projects
• Strong setting out and quality assurance background
• Proficient with Total Station and AutoCAD
• Relevant qualification (Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related field)
• CSCS card essential

• £350 per day CIS
• Long‑term contract until August 2026
