KS2 Supply Teacher - Grimsby
Location: Grimsby & surrounding areas
Job Type: Temporary (Monday-Friday, flexible)
Pay: £130-£180 per day (experience & assignment dependent)
About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable KS2 Supply Teacher to work across primary schools in the Grimsby area. This role is perfect for teachers who enjoy variety, independence, and the opportunity to support pupils across Years 3-6 in a range of school settings.
You’ll be delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining strong classroom routines, and supporting pupils’ academic and personal development-while enjoying a great work-life balance.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Working Monday-Friday, with flexible daily supply and long-term bookings available
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across Years 3, 4, 5, and 6
- Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Creating a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with key KS2 curriculum areas including literacy, numeracy, reasoning, and topic work
- Encouraging pupils to become independent, confident learners
- Confident, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running
- Passionate about upper-primary teaching and pupil progression
- Skilled in managing behaviour and promoting positive learning attitudes
- Able to build rapport quickly with KS2 learners and school staff
- Professional, reliable, and committed to safeguarding
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching KS2 in UK primary schools
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
