About the roleWe are seeking a resilient, motivated, and innovative Programme Leader to join our experienced Psychology team. This is predominantly a teaching role, with responsibilities centred on delivering high‑quality, engaging lectures and supporting student learning across a range of programmes.
Role & Expectations- Deliver innovative and inspiring lectures in Psychology and related subjects.
- Teach across programmes within the faculty, including Psychology, Health, and Social Science degrees.
- Support the Programme Leader with programme management, contributing to the smooth running and development of the curriculum.
- Monitor and support student progress, offering guidance and feedback to help learners achieve their potential.
- Analyse programme data to evaluate outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Higher Education teaching experience with a proven ability to deliver engaging and innovative lectures.
- An MSc in Psychology (specialism preferable), with strong subject knowledge across core and applied areas.
- Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) or registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in a specialist psychology area.
- Resilience and motivation, with a commitment to supporting student success and progression.
- Creativity and innovation in teaching practice, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor student progress and interpret programme data for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively within an experienced academic team and across faculty programmes (including Health and Social Science degrees).
