Route Driver

Mini Melts USA – Deliver our premium cryogenically frozen ice cream to a variety of customer sites in Merrillville, IN. Join a growing team focused on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The Route Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting ice cream, maintaining and servicing vending machines and Grab N Go freezers, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

• Drive Transit Van or 16‑ft box truck in compliance with all transportation laws.
• Deliver ice cream to customer locations and renew product stock.
• Clean and maintain the vehicle daily.
• Document, service, and stock vending machines and Grab N Go freezers at convenience stores, gas stations, stadiums, malls, and other venues.
• Troubleshoot and repair vending machines to keep them functioning and up to standard.
• Maintain accurate records of truck inventory, product movement, and vending machine status.
• Collect, secure, and transport funds removed from vending machines and freezers to the office.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as ice scraping, wiping, cleaning, and replacing stickers or signage.
• Conduct minor repairs on vending machines, grab N Go freezers, and related equipment.
• Deliver, move, and install vending machines and freezers at customer locations.
• Provide excellent customer service through daily communication, problem‑solving, and follow‑ups.
• Accurately document all logs, paperwork, and inventories as required by management.
• Utilize the route provider system to record dates, times, locations, products, notes and photos.
• Adhere to daily start times and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer demands.

• Flexible schedule; able to work at least 30 hours per week.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Pre‑employment physical and drug test.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Full‑time position (8‑hour day shift, Monday to Friday).
