Hammond Services, Inc. – HVAC Service Technician

Join us as an HVAC Service Technician and help keep comfort levels high across the South & West Metro Atlanta area. This family‑owned and operated company has proudly served since 1979.

Base pay range: $70,000 – $130,000 per year, based on experience, certifications, and performance. Other compensation includes commissions/spiffs, monthly performance bonuses, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.

• Diagnose, replace, and troubleshoot residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems to人妻 improve efficiency, including filter changes and condenser/coil cleaning with approved methods and chemicals.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on residential systems with minimal assistance and supervision while maintaining a positive attitude with customers.
• Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with customers to prevent future problems.
• Use software to report completed work and collect customer payments (COD).
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete installations and repairs efficiently.

• Seb at least 2+ years of HVAC residential and/or light commercial field experience. Completion of HVAC schooling preferred.
• EPA Type I, II, III or Universal certification. Other HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and meet auto insurance requirements (minimum age 22).
• Pass a pre‑employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Effectively manage call volume and daily tasks; be able to work flexible schedules including overtime as needed.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
