Vending Technician

Emerald Transportation Solutions is seeking a skilled Vending Technician to support the modification, fabrication, and upfitting of vending and service vehicles. This role requires hands-on experience in welding and/or metal fabrication, along with mechanical aptitude and the ability to install customized components to meet operational and client specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, production environment.

• Perform upfitting and customization of vending and service vehicles
• Fabricate, modify, and install metal components, brackets, racks, and frames
• Perform welding tasks (MIG or similar) as required for vehicle builds and repairs
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, layouts, and work instructions
• Measure, cut, grind, and finish metal components accurately
• Install shelving, vending equipment, mounts, and related hardware
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and structural standards
• Troubleshoot fitment or structural issues during installation
• Maintain tools, welding equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA standards, and production timelines

• Experience in welding and/or metal fabrication
• Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools
• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, or fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Experience upfitting vending, delivery, or commercial vehicles
• MIG welding certification or equivalent experience
• Experience with aluminum and steel fabrication
• Familiarity with vehicle interiors, racks, shelving, or vending systems
• Automotive or manufacturing background

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Manual dexterity for welding, fabrication, and installation tasks
