TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to join the team of a manufacturing client in Griffin, GA.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating with vendors to secure competitive pricing, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of parts. This role works closely with project management and production teams to support operational success.

• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely procurement of required parts

• Obtain and evaluate quotes from multiple vendors to ensure best value

• Create and manage purchase orders in the YES PO system

• Partner with production leadership to identify and close procurement gaps

• Provide weekly updates on procurement status and part delivery

• Participate in required safety programs and adhere to all safety policies

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

To be successful in this role, candidates should have prior procurement experience, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and be committed to providing excellent customer service. The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment is essential.

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent relevant experience, preferred

• Minimum 5 years of experience withing this field.

• Manufacturing Industry preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Advanced problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency with PCs and standard business software.
