Job DescriptionAssistant to the Equipment Manager with experience operating a variety of media equipment. Provide assistance with checking in gear, inventory checklists, minor repairs, some video content creation, and organization of the equipment room facilities. Up to 10 hours per week for the spring semester of the 2025-26 academic year, but beginning potentially as early as November 2025.
Primary Responsibilities- Check in returned equipment reservations on site, both physically and via Cheqroom
- Confirm all returned equipment is operational with all parts accounted for
- Clean and organize the equipment room and check-in facilities
- Periodic inventory of equipment
- Periodic testing of equipment on a rotating basis
- Assist with video production tutorial creation as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be a full-time student with a GPA of 2.5 or better.
- Have a thorough understanding of a variety of NKU’s media equipment
- Have a thorough understanding of Adobe Premiere or Resolve
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Have strong organizational skills
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Be able to safely lift up to 80 lbs.
