Quality Control Tester

Location: Portland, Oregon (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking two Quality Control Testers for a project focused on a new Teller platform software. This role is responsible for writing, executing, and reporting on test scripts to ensure software quality. The position involves evaluating newly developed or acquired software against system requirements and documented specifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and write comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute manual and automated tests on the new Teller platform software, which interfaces with Teller Cash Recyclers (TCR).
  • Document and report test results, discrepancies, and detailed feedback to the development team.
  • Assist with technical support activities, including software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Design and refine testing scenarios and support tools to ensure full system functionality coverage.
  • Perform regression testing on new software releases and recommend updates to test plans.
  • Contribute to all stages of the IT system testing lifecycle to ensure software quality.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in designing, planning, and executing IT system testing strategies and tactics.

Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office is required. Knowledge of the full system lifecycle, quality assurance practices, and testing tools is also necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Teller banking, ATM, or TCR systems.
  • Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and using structured test methodology.
Work Environment

This is a full‑time contract position for the duration of 2026. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is 100% onsite at the designated test lab facility in Portland, Oregon.
