The practice integrates advanced diagnostic technology such as OCT, digital retinal imaging, visual fields, and corneal topography, with a modern EHR system to ensure efficient, patient‑centered care. Gresham Optical continues to expand its services in specialty care and dry eye management while maintaining a strong focus on accessibility, schedule flexibility, and work‑life balance for its team.
As the newest member of our team, you’ll provide comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings (including specialty and multifocal lenses), and medical eye care, including glaucoma management, dry eye treatment, diabetic eye exams, and red eye/urgent visits. You’ll educate patients on their eye health and treatment options, helping them feel informed and cared for at every step. Working alongside a skilled and friendly staff, you’ll contribute to a smooth clinic flow while ensuring each patient receives attentive, personalized care.
You’ll also maintain accurate records by utilizing our modern EHR system, supporting efficient and seamless patient experiences. This part‑time role offers 16‑24 hours per week (2‑3 days with flexible scheduling) with an expected patient volume of 15+ per day, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a work‑life balance.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in or experience with dry eye management, specialty contact lenses, and medical optometry, particularly in glaucoma and diabetes. You should demonstrate strong clinical competence in comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting, and medical eye care. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you can build long‑term patient relationships. You are patient‑focused, displaying a compassionate and professional chairside manner, and are team‑oriented, working smoothly alongside staff.
Efficiency in time management and documentation in an EHR system is essential, as is the flexibility to adapt to a part‑time schedule while maintaining high‑quality care.

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school
