Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Tuesday – 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Wednesday – 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and operational concerns per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, dock doors, trailer yards, and perimeter points. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Control access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or delivery documentation, and directing visitors, drivers, and vendors to the proper check-in areas.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by observing truck and trailer movements, noting seal status as directed by site policy, and reporting irregularities to site contacts.
- Complete routine checks of gates, fencing, lighting, and building entrances to deter unauthorized access and/or property damage.
- Operate security-related systems such as CCTV, access control panels, and/or handheld patrol devices as required by the post assignment.
- Write clear, detailed reports of daily activities, patrol results, and incident response actions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervisors and site personnel.
- Assist with emergency procedures as directed, including coordinating notifications, guiding people away from impacted areas, and supporting first responders upon arrival.
- Maintain a professional presence, provide directions and information, and de-escalate conflicts when appropriate while following site-specific policies.
- At least 1+ years of security experience is required.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
