CCP Shipping Clerk 1st Shift

Processes and maintains the shipping reports and shipping files. Communicates with Traffic, Customer Service, Purchasing and personnel throughout the plant pertaining to shipments. Overtime is generally optional; however, mandatory overtime is required.

• Prepares B/L shipping orders, etc. using PC.
• Enter shipping information into the TMS system to get Carrier.
• Operate the shipping Query.
  Print shipping label & export papers.
• Stencils packages.
• Maintains shipping files.
• Expedite on Premium orders
• Coordinates with load out people and load freight.
• Communicates w/ Customer Service.
• Operate Printer.
• Prepares UPS shipments.
• Reports weights and dimensions on exports to Customer Service and customers who require it.
• Breaks down shipping documents.
• Determine freight charges on all prepaid and add shipments.
• Shipping experience is a plus.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assists in personnel training as required

• Must be familiar with SAP, Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and the internet.
• Must have excellent communication skills, great customer service skills, a quick learner and self-motivated to maximize production.
• Must be able to drive a fork lift, load and unload trailers.
