Traveler Electrical Installer

Talascend is currently seeking a Traveler Electrical Installer for a contract opportunity with our client in Greer, South Carolina.

The role involves inspecting, repairing, installing, modifying, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and equipment in an industrial installation environment.

• Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment in an industrial installation environment.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
• Punctual and dependable every day.
• Ability to install conduit to company and national standards.
• Use of proper tools for the job.
• Mount and wire electrical devices.
• Feed and pull wire.
• Follow instructions of immediate supervisor and work in a team environment.
• Comfortable working at heights typically not higher than 40FT.
• Adherence to all company and national safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in the electrical installation field.

• MEWP (scissor lift) certified. Please provide proof of certification.
• Lifting will exceed 30 lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
• Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated.
