Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a leading third party logistics provider (3PL) that offers a broad scope of services throughout the entire supply chain. Our operation is based in Greer, SC and supports BMW. We manage and operate a warehouse facility that handles pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and daily production support.
Shifts Available:
1st shift:
Monday - Friday / 7:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee all quality processes for BMW warehousing and sequencing operations.
- Act as the primary daily quality contact for BMW, ensuring quick communication and issue resolution.
- Ensure accuracy in sequencing, labeling, packaging, inspections, and outbound delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and audit standard work, quality procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct layered process audits, dock audits, and routine inspection checks.
- Identify quality trends and lead root‑cause problem solving.
- Manage containment, corrective actions, and preventive action plans.
- Partner with warehouse leadership, team leads, sequencing operations, and suppliers to protect quality.
- Track and report KPIs; provide routine quality dashboards and updates.
- Train employees on inspection standards, BMW‑specific requirements, and quality expectations.
- Support new‑hire onboarding with a focus on quality processes and standard work.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent experience also considered.
- Experience in automotive logistics, manufacturing, or quality assurance.
- Working knowledge of sequencing, warehousing, or JIT (just‑in‑time) operations.
- Ability to interpret customer specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience supporting OEM/Tier‑1 automotive customers (BMW preferred).
- Familiarity with ISO/IATF quality‑system requirements.
- Strong Excel and data‑analysis skills (Pivots, charts, reporting).
- Leadership experience in fast‑paced logistics, sequencing, or manufacturing environments.
