About The Role
Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and lead our maintenance operations. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing company assets, including commercial vehicles, trailers, yard switchers, forklifts, golf carts, GPS devices, and handheld scanners. You will supervise maintenance technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain optimal equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Manage Maintenance Teams – Supervise Maintenance Coordinators and Diesel Technicians, overseeing daily activities, performance, and training.
- Ensure Timely Maintenance & Repairs – Oversee scheduled maintenance and repairs for all company equipment, ensuring completion within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain Accurate Service Records – Keep detailed electronic records for all assets to ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
- Inventory Management – Manage ordering, receiving, and tracking of maintenance parts, tools, and equipment.
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to DOT and OSHA safety regulations, including documentation of electronic DVIRs, repair records, and annual inspections.
- Final Inspections & Work Order Management – Conduct final inspections of repairs and close out work orders in the TMT software system.
- Accident Investigations & Compliance – Collaborate with other departments to investigate accidents and maintain compliance with company policies.
- Emergency Repairs – Determine solutions for emergency vehicle repairs and coordinate maintenance responses for vehicles in route.
- Administrative Oversight – Manage employee scheduling, payroll submissions, and time-off requests.
- Regulatory & Environmental Compliance – Stay current with EPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements, ensuring company compliance.
- Promote a Safe & Engaging Work Environment – Foster a culture of teamwork, high performance, and employee motivation.
- Quality Standards Compliance – Maintain adherence to C-TPAT best practices, ISO-9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 45001 certifications.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Experience:
5+ years in vehicle maintenance and 5+ years in a supervisory or maintenance management role. - Technical
Skills:
Strong knowledge of vehicle computer systems, maintenance coordination, service writing, and inventory control. - Analytical & Problem-Solving
Skills:
Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives. - Leadership & Communication
Skills:
Experience in coaching, performance reviews, and employee engagement. - Certifications & Special
Skills:- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience with TMT maintenance software or similar systems preferred.
- Master mechanic experience preferred.
- Class C driver’s license required;
Class A preferred. - Ability to operate a company service vehicle and perform off-site repairs as needed.
- Must meet DOT driver physical requirements and maintain a valid medical certification card.
