Housekeeper – The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health
OverviewThe Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently hiring housekeepers to join our team of dedicated professionals. The Center is a 156‑bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina area.
Responsibilities- Cleans floors, dusts, removes trash, and replaces toilet paper and paper towels in patient and non‑patient areas.
- Removes and replaces soiled linens and towels from designated patient areas.
- When a patient discharges, cleans patient’s mattress and makes up bed.
- Remove hazardous waste off the units and box it for shipping.
- Maintains facility and furnishings in clean, orderly fashion.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Zero‑one (0‑1) year of experience required. Two (2) years of related experience preferred.
- Experience with psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
Day shift:
Sunday–Wednesday 9:00 am–7:30 pm; may be asked to work overtime and flexible hours.
