Job Responsibilities Performs manual labor, in such tasks as clearing debris from rights-of-way, cutting trees, litter pick up, and weed eating around signs. Operates 5 yard dump truck in hauling material and equipment to job sites. Operates dump truck with both snow removal and salt brine application equipment during winter weather operations. Operates equipment such as tractors with large mowers in mowing of shoulders and rights-of-way.
Assists with the placement of traffic control devices to properly set up maintenance work zones. Serves as a flagger to safely direct and control traffic in maintenance work zones. Operates small equipment such as brush chipper, self-contained sweeper, tractor with broom, and tractor with mower (
