Temporary Part-Time General Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of the Campus Facilities Directors, perform building maintenance across campuses as a multi-skilled technician with nonspecific trade skills.
• Assist with maintenance at all campuses and travel as required; transportation is required.
• Assist the Campus Facilities Directors with daily maintenance needs including grounds, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry.
• Perform multiple professional trade functions as needed, including general carpentry, repairs and minor construction, painting and drywall repairs, plumbing repairs and fixture installation, and light electrical repairs (e.g., light bulb replacements, outlet and switch replacement).
• Comply with Facilities Operational and Assessment Plans.
• Collaborate with other maintenance trade specialists to perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid SC Driver's License
