Overview
Office Nurse, Edgefield Medical Center, Full Time
Responsibilities- Utilize the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) to provide patient care in an outpatient setting.
- Provide and document nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established hospital, nursing policies/procedures/protocols, and standards of care.
- Function in a supportive role, communicate findings, resolve work-related issues, and implement tasks or skills that pertain to the treatment of the patient.
- Assist providers with patient flow and utilize office nursing knowledge to enhance the performance of the provider.
- Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor or Department Manager.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Licensed to practice with State Board of Nursing for South Carolina.
