Registered Nurse, 8 Tower, PCU, Full Time, Day Shift
Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) to provide and document professional nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinate and delegate care with other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicate findings to the appropriate person(s). Adhere to the educational hour requirements outlined in the NIAHO standards for Primary Stroke Center.
Perform any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- ADN degree.
- BLS certified.
- ACLS within 1 year.
- Basic and Advanced Arrhythmia certification within 1 year.
- NIHHS Certificate within 1 year.
