Registered Nurse, Emergency Care Center (Full Time, Mid Shift)
Join Self Regional Healthcare as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Care Center. The role requires professional nursing care using the Nursing Process, critical pathways, and established nursing policies and protocols. The RN coordinates and delegates care, communicates findings to appropriate personnel, serves as a resource to resolve work‑related issues, and performs any additional duties as directed by department leadership.
ResponsibilitiesUtilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH, ECC, and Nursing Policies/Procedures/Protocols and Standards of Care. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Serves as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work‑related issues.
Performs any other job related duties as requested by Department Director, Manager, ECC Supervisor, or Lead/Charge Nurse.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. ADN degree. BLS certified. Complete initial competencies as defined (CPI, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIMS 100, 200, 700), NIH Stroke certification all within 12 months of hire. Complete arrhythmia course within 30 days of hire.
