Overview
Registered Nurse, Emergency Care Center, Part Time, Mid Shift at Self Regional Healthcare.
Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH, ECC, and Nursing Policies/Procedures/Protocols and Standards of Care. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Serves as a resource person for SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues.
Performs any other job related duties as requested by Department Director, Manager, ECC Supervisor, or Lead/Charge Nurse.
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Care Center following the Nursing Process.
- Coordinate and delegate care with to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
- Communicate findings to appropriate persons and serve as a resource for SRH/nursing staff.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by leadership.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- ADN degree.
- BLS certified.
- Complete initial competencies as defined (CPI, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIMS 100, 200, 700), NIH Stroke certification all within 12 months of hire.
- Complete arrythmia course within 30 days of hire.
