Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for a Teller located in Greenwood, SC. The Teller is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting members with transactions, account inquiries, and requests.
Daily tasks include processing deposits, withdrawals, and payments, balancing cash drawers, and ensuring accurate record‑keeping. Tellers maintain a thorough understanding of financial products to assist members and identify opportunities to recommend relevant services. Upholding federal regulations, credit union policies, and maintaining confidentiality are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications- Customer service and interpersonal skills to build rapport with members and deliver excellent service
- Cash handling, basic math, and accuracy skills for processing transactions
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn credit union products, services, and regulations
- Problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills to address member inquiries effectively
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency to navigate banking systems and applications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) helpful
Salary $12-$15 hourly, based on experience.
