Automotive Service Technician

Overview

Job Title: Automotive Service Technician — Burton Center is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Greenwood, SC.

The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

• Responsible for all services related to transportation, in the most efficient, cost-effective manner under direction of Service Station Manager.
• Responsible for repairs and maintenance upkeep of agency and public vehicles.
• Responsible for all invoiced or work order preparation associated with the maintenance of vehicles to assist the Service Writer.
• Must always work in a safety-first mentality; good housekeeping, proper lifting techniques, use of chemicals, and personal protective equipment.
• Maintain accurate records relating to Service Station Department.
• Responsible for any other duties as requested by the Service Station Manager.

• Valid SC Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate's degree in automotive mechanics OR a minimum of five (5) years of experience in automotive repair services.

• Experience in Auto Mechanical processes including diagnostics
• Automotive certifications

• Requires lifting of supplies and materials such as tires, batteries and equipment related to job duties.
• Bending, stooping and standing for long periods of time.
