As a Security Officer - Access Badge Verifier in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a leading tech and telecom location, you will welcome employees and visitors, support access control and badge screening, and help maintain an orderly entry experience. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, document security-related observations, and escalate concerns as needed while delivering a customer-first approach.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors at a tech-focused location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

* Operate screening checkpoints by conducting security-related screening of persons, bags, and deliveries using approved tools and procedures, helping to deter prohibited items from entering controlled areas.

* Control access by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging processes, and directing individuals to appropriate entrances, exits, and waiting areas per site requirements.

* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.

* Complete required reports and logs, monitor cameras and/or alarms when assigned, and conduct periodic checks of nearby access points and screening areas as permitted by the post assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

* CPR certification is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
