• Execute daily prep lists efficiently and accurately, including washing, peeling, cutting and portioning ingredients according to specifications.
• Prepare basic components of dishes. Measure accurately, follow recipes precisely and maintain proper storage procedures for all prepared items.
• Maintain proper food storage, monitor temperatures, date items and ensure first in first out (FIFO) protocols are followed.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning duties, sanitizing prep areas, and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, following detailed schedules and health department regulations.

• Previous prep cook experience.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
• Basic math skills for recipe conversion.
• Physical ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

• Early morning shifts.
• Working with sharp objects and kitchen equipment.
• Temperature variations between coolers and kitchen.
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
