CVOR Registered Nurse | Greenwood, Indiana

Join a specialized cardiovascular surgical team in a dynamic hospital setting as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). • Certifications

  Current BLS and ACLS
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years in cardiac and vascular surgery nursing
• EMR System: EPIC

Responsibilities:

• Deliver perioperative nursing care for cardiac and vascular surgery patients within the CVOR
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist with surgical procedures and monitor patient status, adhering to established protocols and safety standards
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR system
• Comply with all regulatory and hospital policies including infection control standards

Desired Experience:

• Proven cardiovascular and vascular surgery nursing experience in an operating room environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills tailored to cardiac surgical patient needs
• Ability to perform in high-pressure settings with flexibility for occasional call demands
