Full‑time opportunity (36 hours per week) offering full benefits and a night shift schedule providing care on the adult unit. Overtime and coverage of other shifts available for interested nurses.
Valle Vista Health System132‑bed, acute‑care psychiatric hospital located in Greenwood, IN. Offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Daily care of over 10,000 patients. Teaching facility supporting local nursing students.
Psychiatric Nurse Residency ProgramProgram for newly licensed nurses that reviews key patient safety concepts in the behavioral health setting and helps transition to a confident professional with knowledge, skills, and competence in psychiatric mental health nursing.

Qualifications- Associate’s degree from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Current license to practice nursing in Indiana (or eligible to receive/renew)
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Availability for nights (7:00 pm–7:30 am)
- Nursing assessment
- Nursing documentation
- Treatment planning – monitor and document progress on goals
- Ensure implementation and documentation of individual treatment plans
- Medication administration/medical management
- Milieu management/communication
- Crisis intervention
- Staff and patient education
