We are looking for an Associate Buyer to join our Group. An Associate Buyer supports procurement operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for managing suppliers and ensuring timely deliveries of indirect materials and facility service providers at Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure.
Responsibilities- Create, manage and track purchase orders using SAP.
- Maintain and update SAP data including material master, vendor master, and purchasing info records.
- Ensure supplier data is accurate and up to date in SAP, including contact details, payment terms, and lead times.
- Collaborate with suppliers for goods and services to support rapid production cycles.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with planning and production teams to anticipate customer needs.
- Expedite orders and resolve delivery issues to prevent production delays.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm availability, lead times, and pricing.
- Support vendor Scorecard and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with team to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
