Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club. This role includes maintaining a clean and safe facility, including parking lots, restrooms, and floors, while providing a positive member experience.

The maintenance associate will be on their feet and on the go during shifts, with a focus on keeping areas well-kept and inviting for members and colleagues. The base pay range is $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary
• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression
• Maintain a positive attitude and adaptability to different work scenarios
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program
• Safely handle and manage chemicals and supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation

Additional routine responsibilities include following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conducting safety sweeps; following proper forklift spotting procedures; and adhering to company procedures for handling hazardous materials and reporting unsafe situations to management.
