Security Guard - OTP (part-time position) - New Vista North
New Vista North Treatment Center and New Vista North Outpatient Recovery Center focus on drug addiction issues. The Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program uses evidence-based approaches to teach coping skills to help patients lead a drug-free lifestyle and minimize relapse. Admission is based on presenting symptoms, willingness to follow program requirements and need for treatment. After an assessment, patients receive an individualized treatment plan.

The Opioid Treatment Program security guard is a cross-trained position responsible for the overall security of patients, employees, and clinic grounds, as well as greeting and assisting visitors, answering calls, and managing patient records. Responsibilities include recording patient demographics and insurance data into electronic medical records and documenting patient interactions. The role requires the ability to establish rapport, maintain healthy boundaries, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
The OTP security guard may assist with various clerical duties and projects as assigned by the OTP Program Director.
- Maintain security of patients, employees, and clinic grounds.
- Greet and assist all visitors; answer calls; manage patient records as part of daily duties.
- Enter patient demographics and insurance data into electronic medical records and document patient interactions.
- Demonstrate rapport-building, professional boundaries, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Assist with clerical duties and projects as assigned by the OTP Program Director.
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- 1-3 years’ experience working with patients in a healthcare environment, preferred.
- Current driver's license.
- Registered Security Officer, preferred.
