Controller, Finance & Banking

The organization seeks a Controller who will play a key role in managing financial operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing cash flow and financial reporting while collaborating closely with various departments. • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including P&L oversight
• Collaborate with engineers on project billing and ensure accurate data flow into accounting
• Monitor cash flow and project financial needs for various initiatives.
• Handle month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with terms and conditions to maintain cash neutrality or positivity
• Work alongside ownership to provide cash flow analysis and support business growth
• Proficiency in Quick Books
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with estimators and stakeholders
• Experience in construction accounting and project accounting, particularly with WIP
• 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred, with a focus on practical knowledge over formal education
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups
• Willingness to work onsite and adapt to flexible hours as needed
• Accounting degree or a related qualification is highly preferred.
• Ability to contribute innovative ideas for organizational improvement is preferred
• Experience in building out cash flow for projects preferred
