Smart Manufacturing Instructor

THE POSITION

* Teach the Next Level Programs of Study Smart Manufacturing Curriculum including

* Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing

* Artificial intelligence, human/robot collaboration, big data, safety, electrical, sensors, digital integration, fluid power, robot operation, measurement, CAD, CNC, additive manufacturing, print reading, and technical mathematics

* Robotics Design and Innovation

* Mechatronics, CAD/CAM, robots, programmable automation, cloud technologies, networking, big data analytics

* Digital Manufacturing Systems

* Data analytics, cyber security, and smart sensors

QUALIFICATIONS

* Valid Teaching License in Technology Education or Workplace Specialist:
Engineering - or - Industrial Automation & Robotics - or - Advanced Manufacturing - or - Trade & Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing
-or- 5000 clock hours (2.5 years) in the past five years in the field and the ability to obtain a Workplace Specialist License

* Ability to teach or earn the ability to teach Dual Credit Courses (or willingness to work toward credentials with Ivy Tech or Vincennes)

* Ability to develop rapport and demonstrate professionalism with high school students, parents, staff, and the community

* Flexibility and the ability to address situations as they arise

* Polished image

* Strong written, verbal, and technical skills
