Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Backend/API Testing) to join their team! This position is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Duties:- Perform manual testing of Java/Spring Boot microservices
- Test and validate REST APIs using Postman or Swagger
- Analyze logs and stack traces to troubleshoot backend issues
- Create and maintain test cases and test plans
- Track defects and testing progress in Jira
- Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects
- Validate service integrations across AWS-based microservices environments
Experience:
- Strong understanding of Java, reading logs and stack traces
- Experience testing backend microservices
- Manual API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
- Experience with Test Rail or QMetry for test management
- Experience using Jira for defect tracking
- Basic understanding of AWS or cloud environments

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $115,000 - $139,000
. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
