The Ash Group is hiring a Senior Python Developer for our client (one of the largest private credit providers in the U.S. agricultural economy). This is a Hybrid 6-month contract role based in Greenwood Village, CO
, offering a pay rate of $81.00 per hour. You will maintain and enhance the Data Party Management API
, a mission-critical microservice built with FastAPI
, PostgreSQL
, and AWS
. This role offers the opportunity to drive architectural changes and set the standard for the client s cloud-native infrastructure for the next five years.

• Maintain and extend highly scalable FastAPI-based microservices using async/await programming and event-driven patterns.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions
  , containerizing applications with Docker for deployment to AWS EKS
  .
• Optimize database performance by tuning PostgreSQL queries via SQL Alchemy and raw SQL.
• Manage AWS infrastructure integration, including RDS with IAM authentication
  , Secrets Manager
  , and storage solutions like S3
  .
• Implement cutting-edge features such as semantic search using Open Search (vector databases) and integrations with AWS Bedrock for GenAI capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to break down features into actionable stories, providing technical leadership on 3-tier web application architecture.

• Experience: 5+ years of professional backend development in Python 3.12+. At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with containerized production environments.
