Role Overview
The President serves as Quandary’s senior commercial and growth leader
, responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s revenue strategy while preserving the standards, discipline, and client trust expected of a boutique consultancy.
This role blends strategic leadership, commercial ownership, and selective client-facing involvement

The President works in close partnership with the Founder/CEO and leadership team, with broad influence over the firm’s direction, offerings, and market positioning.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Strategy & Commercial Leadership
- Define and execute a disciplined growth strategy aligned with the firm’s capabilities and values
- Establish predictable revenue planning, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Balance new client acquisition with long-term account development
- Ensure growth decisions support margin health, delivery excellence, and client outcomes
Offerings & Go-To-Market Evolution
- Lead the development of repeatable, clearly positioned offerings rooted in the firm’s delivery strengths
- Clarify ideal client profiles, target industries, and buying personas
- Partner with delivery leadership to align offerings with utilization, leverage, and margin objectives
Sales & Business Development Structure
- Build and mature a right-sized sales and business development function
- Introduce clear processes, playbooks, and performance expectations without over-engineering
- Gradually reduce reliance on founder-led business development
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Establish selective, high-value partnerships with technology and platform providers
- Create thoughtful, mutually beneficial go-to-market relationships
- Position Quandary as a trusted, long-term partner within partner ecosystems
Firm Leadership & Representation
- Serve as a senior leader and culture carrier within the firm
- Collaborate across delivery, operations, and marketing to ensure alignment
- Represent Quandary with clients, partners, and industry peers
Success Metrics (12–24 Months)
- Consistent, profitable revenue growth aligned with delivery capacity
- Clearly defined offerings adopted across the firm
- Reduced dependence on founder-led sales
- Expanded partner-sourced and referral-based pipeline
- Sustained or improved gross margins
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 20+ years in consulting or professional services, preferably within boutique or mid-sized firms
- Senior Management experience leading revenue, growth, or firm operations at a consultancy
- Demonstrated ability to scale revenue while maintaining quality and margins
- Experience building or formalizing business development and sales capabilities
- Strong background in partnerships and alliances

Compensation & Incentives
Compensation is designed to reward profitable, sustainable growth consistent with a boutique consulting model.
Base Salary
- $150,000 annually
Performance-Based Incentive Compensation
Bonus compensation is tied directly to gross margin performance
, reinforcing disciplined growth and delivery quality.
Once the firm achieves $3.5M in annual revenue at or above 65% gross margin
, the President earns a bonus equal to $50,000
, with an additional bonus of $150,000 above $6.5M in annual revenue at or above 65% gross margin

- This structure results in a $200,000 bonus at $6.5M in annual revenue
