Perform end-to-end testing across backend and API-driven systems supporting high-volume traffic. Balance workload between automation and manual testing (50/50) depending on system readiness and priority. Design execute and maintain API tests using internal automation frameworks. Develop and maintain automated tests using Java TestNG and Spring-based applications. Execute detailed manual testing to fully understand workflows and data flows prior to automation. Use tools such as Postman and Bruno for API validation and exploratory testing.
Manage test accounts and test data in a data-driven environment. Triage, prioritize and validate testing efforts for a large volume of incoming requests. Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans and documentation. Clearly document defects with reproducible steps and actionable detail. Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Track work defects and testing progress using JIRA.
Strong hands‑on experience with API testing (no UI testing required). Proficiency in Java for test automation. Experience with TestNG and Spring applications. Hands‑on experience using Postman and/or Bruno. Solid background in manual testing methodologies. Experience working in a cloud environment preferably AWS (EC2). Strong understanding of test case management and documentation best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate issues and ask clarifying questions.
Proven ability to manage workload in a high-volume, fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a methodical, disciplined testing approach. Experience working with custom or internal automation frameworks. Background supporting core data platforms or high‑throughput systems. You remain steady and effective in complex, high‑demand environments. You bring patience, consistency and technical credibility to the team.
