Description
** Hybrid | Greenwood Village, CO**
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and advanced data initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and the communication skills to translate business and analytical needs into effective data engineering solutions.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $45 - $50 / hr. w2
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines and data architectures
- Ingest, transform, and store large, complex data sets using modern ETL/ELT processes
- Support data warehousing and data lake environments across cloud platforms
- Partner with analytics, data science, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across data platforms
- Conduct independent research and analysis to evaluate tools, technologies, and approaches
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive and proprietary information
- Strong proficiency in one or more scripting, analysis, or ETL languages (e.g., SQL, Python) with the ability to rapidly learn new tools and techniques
- Experience working with large data sets and modern data platforms, including Big Data, cloud, and streaming services
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Map Reduce
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Excel and Tableau
- Familiarity with the core concepts and properties of major machine learning technique families
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Proven capability to translate analytical requirements into actionable engineering solutions
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
