Base Pay Range

$32.00/hr - $39.00/hr

• 2–3 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Administration.
• Strong foundation in Linux systems (administration, command lines, troubleshooting).
• Experience with Rocky Linux or Red Hat.
• Understanding of RF principles, broadband communication, and high‑speed data.
• Familiarity with cable systems and video platforms.
• Solid troubleshooting skills (prioritize over theoretical problem‑solving).
• Knowledge of deploying code and managing configurations.

• Bonus:
  Experience managing head ends or having a personal lab for hands‑on practice.

A client in Greenwood Village is seeking a Systems Engineer. The role involves maintenance and monitoring of the customer premise equipment (CPE) lab, basic triaging, troubleshooting, configuration, and provisioning of any issues that arise to maintain the environment’s integrity and functionality. The engineer will also deploy code to new hardware equipment.

This is a contract position, 4 days a week onsite, minimum 6 months with extensions. Pay rate $32–$39/hr.

• Manage and maintain lab headend components and platform environments.
• Deploy code to platform devices and ensure proper configuration.
• Troubleshoot Centil boxes and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Create and maintain healthy test environments for field issue replication and validation.
• Support proof‑of‑concept testing, validations, and troubleshooting for high‑speed data and video ecosystems.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver initiatives with speed and accuracy.
• Work with Linux systems for command‑line installs and configurations (Rocky Linux or Red Hat preferred).
