Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Dev Ops Lead to provide on‑site leadership and guidance for our established Dev Ops team supporting DOCSIS Device Activation and Management platforms. This onshore role focuses on team leadership, strategic guidance, and hands‑on support when specialized expertise is needed.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor existing Dev Ops team members across SRE, CI/CD, Release Management, App Support, and Observability functions
- Identify operational challenges and guide the team toward effective solutions
- Provide strategic direction for Dev Ops initiatives and process improvements
- Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues requiring senior expertise
- Provide hands‑on support during critical incidents or when team capacity is limited
- Guide troubleshooting efforts and knowledge transfer to team members
- Help establish best practices and standards across all Dev Ops functions
- Review and improve existing operational procedures and playbooks
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross‑training within the team
- Telecommunications Background:
Experience with DOCSIS, cable modem systems, or telecom infrastructure - AWS & Kubernetes Expertise:
Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes orchestration - Splunk
Experience:
Proficiency in Splunk for monitoring, alerting, and log analysis - Dev Ops Leadership: 5+ years leading Dev Ops teams with hands‑on technical expertise
- Mentoring
Experience:
Proven ability to guide and develop technical team members - Location:
Onshore candidate required for on‑site leadership and collaboration
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Ability to balance strategic guidance with tactical hands‑on support
- Experience working with existing teams and improving operational processes
