Overview
Hospice of the West is expanding into the Greenwood Village, CO market with the opening of a new location — our first in Colorado. With six successful locations across Arizona, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Program Director to lead our new hospice program and establish our presence in the Greenwood Village community.
The Hospice Director will provide overall leadership for the Greenwood Village hospice agency operations, focusing on growth, external market relationships, financial management, customer service and quality care delivery.
As the Hospice Program Director, you will oversee and administer all aspects of day-to-day operations. You will work within established goals, policies, and regulations of our company, ensuring compliance with hospice-specific regulations, laws, and policies, including Medicare/Medicaid matters. Under senior management guidance, you will manage the affairs of the local office, making a meaningful impact on patients and families during difficult times.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Territory: Greenwood Village / Denver Area.

Manage day-to-day operations of the hospice program and local office with strong leadership. - Policy Implementer:
Implement policies and procedures approved by the governing body.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care, or business administration preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care management, home health, hospice, or related health programs required.
- Two (2) years of hospice experience required with knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Department of Aging and Disability Services regulations.
- Operations and/or Sales Leadership experience required
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships in the communities served and within the company.
- Skilled at establishing working relationships with key staff, marketing contacts, and clinical staff to ensure understanding of Hospice Mission and services.
- Experience in analyzing processes, improvement planning, supporting change, and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
$ - $ per year (Average Pay Range) plus bonus eligibility. The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
