LOAN SERVICING AND POST CLOSING QA SPECIALIST

FUNCTIONAL

DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for commercial loan post-closing, servicing, and collateral administrative duties at Bellco ensuring completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and quality member service while guaranteeing financial security for Bellco and its members. This includes verifying complete loans files, confirming accuracy of loan onboarding into system of record, following up on missing documentation, ensuring business loan members receive documentation in a timely manner, collateral tracking, file maintenance, and other loan servicing duties that are required in the day-to-day support of Commercial and Small Business lending.

Contacts:
Bellco members and employees. Potential email contact with loan participants. Frequent phone or email contact with Vendors, other financial institutions, title companies, appraisers, and various government agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience : 3-5 years full service commercial loan processing or servicing experience preferred.

3-5 years basic banking experience

Experience with the following is preferred:

• • Imaging systems
  • Collateral perfection and tracking
  • Regulatory compliance for business loans
  • Understanding of business loan documents
  • General Business lending knowledge
  • General business loan file preparation

Skills:

Working knowledge of loan servicing and business loan origination systems.

Strong analysis and problem-solving skills with attention to details.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to handle medium volumes of inbound and outbound call traffic.

Ability to work with Title Companies to obtain required documentation to complete the closed files.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Demonstrate Bellco’s Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, internal and external contacts.
• Practices established Bellco Sales and Service Standards.
• Working with management to develop and implement control systems that optimize operations or utilize new technologies to mitigate risk.
• Audits loans by comparing the loan documents to the system of record for accuracy and escalating exceptions to management as appropriate.
• Prepare post- closing loan file preparation, third party report requirements, security and title insurance documentation.
• Performs maintenance and oversight on commercial loan portfolio for life of the loan. Which include the set up and tracking of portfolio ticklers for property insurance, property taxes, and inspections.
