- Provide expert guidance on complex loan scenarios to find a solution and a path forward.
- Collaborate with loan officers and processors to resolve underwriting escalations efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage regulations and Cross Country Mortgage products.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex loan issues, pipeline problems, and underwriting exceptions.
- Proactively manage the pipeline dates and deadlines to ensure a smooth process and a positive customer experience.
- Provide technical support in Encompass to ensure accuracy and quality of loan files.
- Conduct training on various products, programs, and industry topics in an ever-evolving industry.
- Recruit, train, and develop operations staff based on metrics and business needs.
- 5+ years of Mortgage experience.
- Ability to run LP and DU.
- Positive, team player mindset.
- Solution-oriented and able to take action when needed.
- Encompass experience preferred but not required.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of FHA/VA/USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC policies and guidelines.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products, and underwriting guidelines.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage insurance (MI) guidelines.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of various fraud tools.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of processing and closing functions, and a general understanding of the entire real estate lending process.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Investor, FHA, and Fannie Mae guidelines.
Compensation: $100,000 DOE
