This job requires the job holder to be in our Denver office 5 days per week minimum. Please only apply if you are comfortable with the location and commute.

Job Purpose

The Quality Engineer I is responsible for testing a comprehensive AI knowledge base, inference engine and clinical decision support system by verifying adherence to software specifications, validating that workflows and user experiences are well designed, practical and function as required for clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:

  • Identify, design and execute test cases
  • Record test progress and results
  • Create test cases, test procedures, and Data sets
  • Support and contribute to the development of standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
  • Discover, document and track resolution of bugs in the software
  • Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
  • Perform and document risk analysis
  • Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
Education / Qualification Experience
  • 4 years + experience in a QA testing role and an understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience using JIRA and familiarity with test case management tools (Zephyr, Test Rail, or similar)
  • A solid understanding of Agile Software Development
  • Understanding of QA methodologies (Regression, Black Box, white box, Smoke, etc)
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Basic API knowledge
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • A critical thinker with skill in analyzing underlying issues through probing, questioning, and listening to drive and realize continuous process improvements
  • Strong trouble shooting skills with attention to detail and a quality mindset.
  • A collaborative team player who can understand and appreciate the goals of others, working together to build success.
  • Patient, resilient, able to work in a pressurized environment and manage time effectively.
  • Good interpersonal skills – tactfully and confidently liaising with, and presenting to, colleagues at all levels of the business on findings.
