Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 remote in Greenwood Village, CO
Our client seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines that power customer-facing reporting and internal analytics. The role requires strong SQL, ETL development, Python, and cloud experience, with an emphasis on performance and cost efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate across teams to standardize data practices and deliver reliable datasets in a dynamic environment.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55.00 to $63.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
- Optimize data processing workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to standardize data practices.
- Support customer-facing teams by preparing high-quality, reliable datasets.
- Contribute to team-wide efforts to improve operational efficiency.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on ETL development and data manipulation.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- Experience with Spark or Hadoop (preferred).
- Background in mobile or telecom industries (preferred).
- Familiarity with Dev Ops or data architecture practices (preferred).
